ONGOING REPAIR OF MASJID MATAR

 The repair started late December 2023. The priorities were replacing the roof and ceilings with new ones including the timber frames.

IMPROVEMENTS COMPLETED FOR MASJID MATAR ABU SALEH

  The improvements for Masjid Matar Haatim Abu Saleh or Masjid Matar were completed at the end of January 2024, with donors as follows: The masjid located in Markaz Ahlie li Tahfeedil Quran al Kareem in Sapakan, Mamasapano, Maguindanao, is used by the 40 tahfiz students as well as the community nearby. It also serves as an additional classroom for the students. Masjid Matar was in need of new roof and ceilings, new paint, and new doors. Pictures below show "before" and "after" improvements were done on Masjid Matar. 1) Before Improvement 2) After Improvement First of all, syukur to Allah SWT for all the blessings coming to us, for the blessings that we can see and for the blessings that are hidden to us. Therefore, we express syukur for the coming of these blessings from Malaysia and Brunei- the repair/improvement of the masjid and the C.R. (comfort rooms/toilets) as well others. Until here only. KOLAH AND WATER SYSTEM WERE INSTALLED IN MARKAZ AHLIE

In addition to the repair and improvement done to Masjid Matar and the toilets, a kolah (both for water storage and a place for bathing) and water system were built for the students of the Markaz Ahlie Qur'an memorization centre. Overall, the teachers and students of the markaz and the community nearby are very happy and grateful for the repair and renovation of their masjid and toilets as well as the building of the kolah and installation of water system. This area in Maguindanao is known for its dry weather and water is very precious in this parts. The students are very happy to have water anytime they need it and it was decided by the school that they will be given opportunity to "swim" in the kolah once a week.  The number of students are expected to increase with the improvements completed in Markaz Ahlie. IMPROVEMENTS COMPLETED FOR THE TOILETS OF MASJID MATAR

The 4-door toilets near the Masjid was also in a dilapidated state. The doors were damaged, toilet bowls were clogged, there was no water nearby, the roofs were damaged, old and leaking, the walls were dark and gloomy, and the floors were dirty and slippery. The repair of the toilets was completed on the 1st week of February 2024 and it included: 1) new doors were installed 2) new toilet bowls were installed 3) water supply is installed 4) roofs are raised and replaced 5) walls are painted 6) floors are tiled Pictures below show the "before" and "after" improvement of the toilets. 1) Before improvements 2) After Improvement
